Typography Jewelry

  TRUDEE HILL (http://www.trudeehill.com/)
I always admired designers like Trudee Hill, who can take a simplistic approach to
jewelry without sacrificing style. Hill’s fashionable accessories feature  typography as their focal point with various cut-outs of letters and words.

The jewelry is made out of sterling silver and stainless steel for a sleek look that catches people’s attention.

Trudee Hill also has other designs :

VICTOIRE DE CASTELLANE

Very beautiful creation from Victorie De Castellane
(http://www.diorhorlogerie.com/en/victoire-de-castellane)

She creates her gorgeous pieces using yellow and white gold, petrified wood and precious stones such as opals, sapphires, and diamonds. Aside from being aesthetically breathtaking, this collection is based on a concept that is insightful and quite deep. Victoire De Castellane explains that the collection is “the tale of flowers poisoning themselves with their own venom. It is also about self-destruction and addiction of all forms

You can read more about her at her page in Diorhorlogerie

But take a look at some of the stunningly beautiful Dior jewellery designed by Victoire… Amazing.

vintage wedding

I had a simple wedding. 2 of our friends and two of us, cheap dress, cheap ring, planned and executed in 3 days. There were reasons Why at that time, but I am sad to think that I will not ever have a wedding. At that time I didn't care... now I regret it... a little bit

If I had a chance and have a wedding again I would do it in vintage style. Something like this.

Oh, I hope my little Sophie will have a different perspective on the wedding date and I will have a chance to help her with everything for a big day.

boulder... what's boulder?

I love Boulder opals.
It reminds me a aerospace picture of earth, from a satellite or plane.

I had this stone for a while and every time i tried to create a pendant it just didn't feel right... so this time I decided to design a ring and here is what it turned out:

I think it's simply stunning! I don't want to take it off my hand :(

will be listed in my store soon

Squares

I was thinking about this idea for a while... I am working on a symmetrical square bangle with moonstones and sapphires...

There is something about square form of the bracelet that is just fascinating to me...

Do you like my idea? :

it is still work-in-progress. but I just LOVE IT !

Simple earrings

As I am getting ready for summer sales and craft shows I am thinking of some ideas for simple earrings. Lovely sterling silver or gold filled earwire and gemstones are my best friends for this season. I am trying to keep it as simple as possible, but I can't. SO many ideas on how to embellish little treasures and so on.

GOAL: Keep it simple.

as I was making these earrings I got an idea of creating a bracelet all made out of these "tubes" with pearls hanging in them. wouldn't that be cool?

Lo.lo.LOVE these little turquoise cabs. gorgeous !

Earrings

I know you've all been waiting for !

Here are some pictures of earrings (work-in-progress)

Ouch. I might keep a couple for myself!! These turned out awesome!

studio mess

If I only had time for everything i WANT to do in my life, everything else would just play along...

I don't have time for :
~enough play with Sophia (the only regret of not having the time)
~cleaning
~cooking
~taxes
~new jewelry ideas ...

Here is what's my "take-a-picture" space looks like... It's tiny and dark, but somehow my pictures turnout great no matter what!

Gotta love Photoshop! By the way, I rarely use it. Maybe to clean the dust or cut/format it.

I love the little horse that Sophia left before going to bed :)

Wanna see more details on the necklace that is being displayed?

Craft shows

I am looking at buying shelves for the jewelry shows instead of tables, or buying tables and table top displays. I spent all day today looking at shelves that would be easy to set up... not that much to choose from.

I will keep you posted on how my booth set up is doing for the shows for this year

I still have a long list to buy if I want to do shows.

My friend who I used to share a booth with, might not want me to share a space with her anymore, so if I decide to be on my own I will have to buy a lot of stuff:
Here is my starter list:
1)Tent
2)Tables
3)Displays / Shelves
4)Individual jewelry displays
5)Credit card processing unit/propay

and pay a fortune for the show fees too!

Do I really wanna do this?
